When news stories paint you in a bad light, it can be very difficult to defend or even try a case. Sometimes a story is so wacky or so heinous that it spreads like wildfire across the wires. The news loves to find the strange and unusual, and today’s case is no exception.
This case was reported by WKMG, but it originated in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. A 28-year-old man was caught wearing nothing but a pair of high heels and a turban. The man was driving an SUV and jumped a curb. Police pulled him over and told him he was under arrest for DUI. He tried to escape on foot. He was attempting to put on women’s panties when the police found him hiding behind a tree early in the morning.
When cops searched the vehicle, they found a small bag that contained cocaine and marijuana according to cops.
While certainly out of the ordinary, the charge they booked him with include public indecency, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, and DUI. All of these are quite serious cases, and need strong legal defense. Charges like these can put a person into prison for an extremely long time and make their life afterward very painful.
